Just booked 2 weeks in Sharm, will be my first warm water dive, the only down side is i have to take the wife and she does not dive.
Will it be possible for her to tag along on the boat even if she doesn't dive? if so do they charge the same as a diver?
any recomendations of places to see would also be welcome

My wife didn't even snorkel when we first went to Sharm 3 years ago now she is doing her OWD in Feb. She has spent the last 3 visits following me onto the boats and learning to snorkel. I always book with Emperor Divers, I think they charge 20 Euro for non divers.
Most local sites are good for diving and snorkeling but I'd recommend White Knights and Far Garden. If you go to the Ras Mohammed Nature reserve dive Ras Ghozlani.

Whrere will you be staying in Sharm?
Depends on which dive company youuse as to whether or not your wife will pay, most will cahrge a nominal fe for lunch/Transport etc, but to be honest my missus hates the trips and would rather stay by the pool.
The gardens are great dives as is ras mohammed,
At night get into the hard rock cafe (bit pricey) and the Bustsop bar but watch out for all of the perfume shops and the Russian Hookers! LOL
